How can we be “body positive” in a sex-positive world? I keep seeing “desexualize women’s bodies” everywhere. Can I be a sex worker and still advocate for that? I feel like I’m a walking contradiction.

I’m a cis-gendered male who grew up in the Midwest. Years ago, I started calling my wife “my partner.” I’d like to get some other ways like that to make non-gendered language a part of my everyday speech.

My best friend since the third grade has been in a relationship with a guy for the past five years. Today she told me they don’t have sex that often, and to top it all off she hasn’t had an orgasm since she was 19 – she is now 43!! This blew my mind!
